Posada La Almazuela

The Almazuela is a rural accommodation with category POSADA, located in Montenegro de Cameros, on the border between the provinces of Soria and La Rioja. Our small hotel is surrounded by natural areas: the Sierra de Urbion, the Sierra Onion and Sierra de la Demanda. Montenegro is also in fully protected by the European Natura 2000 program area and has been classified as a Special Protection Area for Birds (SPA). Its privileged location makes it the perfect La Almazuela for nature lovers, hiking, cycling and the practice of many sports such as skiing, climbing, fishing and rowing accommodation. It is also the ideal place from which to make numerous routes through the Castilian-leonéso romantic walks in the woods nearby Romanesque for those wishing to spend a few days of peace and break the routine in an enclave of unusual beauty.
In the restoration, we have tried to keep the original structure of the building, providing it with the necessary amenities.
Also, we wanted to observe the highest bioclimatic characteristics thereof and the commitment to a sustainable architecture using environmentally friendly materials, has meant that the building be honored at the fourth edition of "Awards Sustainable Construction of Castilla y León "
