Route to reach "THE HOUSES OF JET" from the port of San Sebastian -.
Typically accessed the Isla de la Gomera by sea. The ferry arrives at the port of San Sebastián de La Gomera and, once there, you must go out the TF-711 road in Hermigua sense. This is a freeway that, in general, is in good condition, although it has several tunnels, some with curves, so you should exercise extreme caution.
Being a mountain road, the ride to Las Casas del Chorro has an estimated duration, at normal speed, about 60 minutes. The scenery is very beautiful.
To reach Hermigua, follow the road, passing through several tunnels, over a distance of about 12 Kms and as steady, past the turning to the left, towards the Forest Cedar. We continue addressing Hermigua, down about 8 Kms.
Throughout this journey, and once in the village of Hermigua, it travels the same road along which the town developed. A cross-roundabout after the gas station, the direction of the left continues. After the line of the first section of this route is a closed curve, 180 °, and 250 meters Bar is the restaurant "El Silvo" where they can "chop" something. About 3 km and about 5 minutes later, we reach the entrance of the village of Agulo.
It continues to circulate, without leaving the road and still directs Vallehermoso, for which passes through a small tunnel, and the path is continued until, before arriving at the village of Las Rosas and about 5 Kms later, the left side of the road, we come to a crossroads pointing toward the Visitor Center National Park and the La Palmita. In that same crossing is located the restaurant "Casa Luis".
Driving along this road, uphill, and after an almost 3 Kms more, you get to a clearing where the Visitor Center Garajonay National Park. Now, is 2.3 Kms from Las Casas. You must turn left and take the road that is between the Visitor Center and the bar-restaurant "The Drum". This is a very nice and down with little traffic, although somewhat narrow and unprotected. Thus llegarána signal indicating the end of the journey, where our staff will be waiting.
In total the trip are approximately about 35 kilometers and it takes 60 minutes from San Sebastian.
