Part of a 300 year old former farmhouse, the Secret Garden Villa at Finca Botanico in Lanzarote has been fully renovated and offers stylish and comfortable accommodation for four people in an idyllic and tranquil edge of village location, just a short drive from the beach at Arrieta and just five minutes’ stroll from Cesar Manrique´s world famous Cactus Garden.

The Secret Garden Villa is ideal for plant lovers as it boasts a large, lush and mature tropical courtyard garden featuring a wide array of palms, trees and shrubs.

The Secret Garden Villa offers guests total privacy and is divided into a number of different zones and chill out spaces, including a beautiful outdoor eating area with large built in BBQ and outdoor spa shower with sun loungers. Enabling guests to relax in style and enjoy a real feeling of outdoor living. Outdoor lighting adds extra atmopshere as night falls.

Internally the property has been furnished and decorated to a high standard, offering guests fibre optic high speed broadband throughout, Internet TV with a full IPTV system (so all channels plus films, live sports etc) and two wood burners for winter nights. Beach towels are provided as well as bath towels and linen.

The focal point of the property is an enormous kitchen/diner that has five-metre wide floor to ceiling sliding glass doors which open directly into the garden, offering amazing views, blending the indoors with the outdoors. It is equipped with all mod cons, such as washing machine, dishwasher, gas hob electric oven and wood burner. Relax on the comfy sofa or at the dining table.

In addition there is a separate lounge area which offers great, unspoilt views of the countryside and a separate wood burner.

The master bedroom has a king size bed, 1.8m by 2m. The second twin bedroom has a queen size double bed.

The well decorated bathroom features a large walk in shower (with good water pressure), sink and WC. Whilst there's also a vanity table,

There are restaurants, bars and shops within s short stroll from the Finca.

When you leave the airport, take the Arrecife/Ciudad exit. This will get you onto the two lane
motorway which goes towards Arrecife. After approx. three kilometres, there is a petrol station
on your right and a left hand exit signposted ‘Circunvalacion’. Take this left hand exit and you
will be on the ring road that runs round the outskirts of Arrecife.
After 1 kilometre or so on the circunvalacion you see two large signposts, with raised exits for
Arrecife and an underpass for Costa Teguise and Orzola. Take the blue signposted underpass
for Costa Teguise/Orzola. Then you will be on a new stretch of road for another 1km or so until
the road has a right hand exit. This exit is signposted for Orzola and Arrecife, while the main
road continues to Costa Teguise. Take the Arrecife/Orzola exit, which reaches a small
roundabout after 300metres or so.
With the small roundabout ahead of you and a right hand exit to Arrecife, go round the
roundabout to the Tahiche and Orzola exit which goes under the underpass. On the other side
of the underpass is another small roundabout, which you need to go round for the Tahiche exit.
You will then be on a dual carriageway. This dual carriageway takes you through Tahiche,
where there are now four roundabouts, one of which has Manrique’s famous silver wind toy
‘Fobos’ in the middle (this is currently being restored, so isn’t in situ).
You need to take the first, right hand exit at the fourth roundabout, which takes you past the
LePain bakery in the direction of Orzola. This is the main North road, the LZ1 and it goes on to
Guatiza. The exit for Guatiza is after about 5 or 6 kilometres and will be signposted with the
Jardin de Cactus as well. Take this exit, go past the petrol station and take the next exit for
Guatiza.
The road then enters the village of Guatiza after about 1km. Calle Tarajal is the second road on
the left as you drive through the village. Turn in to Calle Tarajal and drive around two large
curves in the road. You should then be close to number 30, which is Finca Botanico. The key
box is next to the large double doors at the back of the parking bay – the parking bay is for your
rental car during your stay. The entrance to the Secret Garden is through
the large wooden doors.
