LAS URCES Farmhouse, old house renovated farmhouses, located on the Island Santibanez (León), village of the plain of the River Eye, located 10 km from La Bañeza , 15 km from Astorga, 40 km from León and Ponferrada 80 km as a reference of the most important cities of the province of León.
LAS URCES name is because the house is located in the plaza of the same name, as this is the place where once sold LA URZ sellers brought from the part of the Teleno. < br>
The URZ (URCES plural of ulex Latin-icis) is a heather plant, linear and tough leaves, the flower can be white or purple. With heather brooms were used to sweep after ages, the yard or the street did. It also served to stoke the fire in the ovens where the bread was made and the wood is prized for making bagpipes.
Inside the house, we have two apartments.The ground floor consists of a living room-kitchen 40 m2., A double room with extra bed, bathroom with shower, all accessible to the disabled and wheelchairs.
The first floor has three bedrooms, lounge, kitchen and bathroom with bath tub.
The common area is the yard with covered portalina.
